Welcome to the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Dover Alumnae Chapter Website

Epsilon Kappa Sigma Chapter, now Dover Alumnae Chapter, was chartered in 1955 by 12 incredibly talented, visionary women. The early meetings were held in members homes as they focused on the direction of the chapter. The first public service activities for the chapter was the development of the Sub-Deb program, awarding scholarships, Jabberwock, and contributing to Thicka, a maternity hospital built in Kenya, Africa by the Sorority. In 1957 the first initiates came into the Chapter and these women were:  Edith Hardcastle, Reba Hollingsworth, Nora Patrick, and Emma Woodson. In January 25, 1958 , Dover Alumnae spearheaded the chartering of Epsilon Alpha Chapter at Delaware State College (now university).
